O’olish Amaneh

O’olish Amaneh was a Knight of the Word.

Big. Had a strong face with rugged features. Appeared not to age. Copper skin, smooth and unblemished where it stretched across his wide forehead and prominent cheekbones. Dark brows, flat nose, wide cheekbones. Wore his long raven hair in a single braid down his broad back. Fingers were gnarled and thick. Massive chest and arms.

Wore worn military fatigues (army field jacket with the sleeves removed and baggy frayed pants) with scuffed boots, a red bandanna tied loosely about his neck. Carried a battered knapsack and bedroll.

Born in Springfield. 52 years old at the time of Running with the Demon.

Two Bears was a title given to O’olish by his father at birth as he was supposedly as big as two bears. The last of the Sinnissippi Indians. An Indian shaman, or medicine man.

Served in Vietnam for six years.

Presented new Knights of the Word with their staffs.

Was able to see Pick, even when he made himself invisible.
