Ard Patrinell

Ard Patrinell was captain of the Home Guard.

Tall. Powerfully built. Close cropped grey hair and pale blue eyes. Scars criss-crossed his blunt features and muscular body, thin white lines and rough pink welts against his sun-browned skin. Power radiated from him. He gave the impression of someone who was always ready and just about to react.

Fought in the Federation Wars, at Klepach and Barrengrote, 15 years before the events of the Ilse Witch when he was an Elven Hunter and not yet in the Home Guard.

Was demoted from captain following the assassination of Allardon Elessedil and was then placed in command of the Elven hunters to accompany Walker Boh on the Jerle Shannara.
