Frank was Jack McCall‘s favourite uncle.

A big man with strong hands and red hair.

After he went into hospital, his hands were so frail he could barely lift them, all his hair had fallen out and he looked like an old man.

He taught Jack how to throw a baseball and took him to ballgames on Sunday afternoons.

He got sick all at once: he went into hospital and never came out.
