Panax first appeared in Ilse Witch.

Solid looking. Rough featured, bearded, no longer young. Deep lines on his forehead. Skin browned and weathered from the sun and wind.

Gruff and irascible. Liked wood carving.

His life had been saved by Truls Rohk. Whilst he was recovering from this ordeal, Truls taught him about the mountains.

He earned a living by doing various things, including guiding people through the mountains.

Lived in a cabin that was a small neat shelter built of logs, set back in a clearing near the crest of the foothills. Carried a battle axe.
