Mwellrets

Mwellrets were a species of Troll.

Reptilian faces with lidless eyes and twisted mouths. Clawed hands.¹Ilse Witch – p 357 They descended from Humans who survived within forests that the Great Wars had turned to swamp, the waters poisoned and the vegetation diseased. They grew to look like reptiles – taking on the characteristics of the creatures who survived best in that environment.

Once numerous, over the 500 years before the events of the Ilse Witch they had been reduced down to a small community. Savage and relentless fighters.

Secretive and manipulative of others. Very clever.

Had a hypnotic stare. Could shape shift.
