Pleneten was a heavy-duty drug, mostly effective against plague viruses. No one outsides the compounds could get any, unless they came across a hidden supply. Even then it probably wouldn’t be any good as it had to be kept cold. Unrefrigerated it would only keep for about ten days.1Armageddon’s Children – pp 26-27
