Jared Scott

Jared Scott was one of Nest Freemark‘s group of friends.

About 5′ 7″. Short dark blond hair, startling blue eyes, stoic smile.

Jared had a mild form of epilepsy and suffered from frequent attacks that could last up to five minutes. When he had an attack he would simply stare into space, not able to see or hear anything, he was not aware of anything. He was on medication but it did not always stop the attacks.¹Running with the Demon – p 14

His mother left it to him to prepare all the meals for his siblings, and to be there when they got home from school.³Running with the Demon – pp 28-29

Left in charge of his siblings one night while his mother was out, Jared had an attack. By the time he recovered his sister had disappeared.⁴Running with the Demon – p 10 He looked everywhere for her and was about to call the police when Nest Freemark brought her back.⁵Running with the Demon – p 28

Jared moved away from Hopewell within a year of Running with the Demon. Nest never heard from him again.
