Helt appeared in The Wishsong of Shannara.

Giant – almost as big as Allanon. Black hair, close-cropped beard. A long, gentle face.¹The Wishsong of Shannara – p 157 Helt was formerly a tracker, he had been a tracker for more than twenty years. It was rumoured he had a family once, but no one knew what had become of them. A gentle man, quiet and soft-spoken. Also a dangerous man, a skilled fighter and incredibly strong. Possessed night vision which allowed him to see in darkness as if it were still bright daylight.
