Genewen was ridden by Perk.
Golden coloured. Wing span of thirty feet. A sleek, crested head the colour of fire, tinged with black flecks. A large hooked beak and powerful talons.1The Elfstones of Shannara – pp 299-300
Genewen actually belonged to Perk’s grandfather, Herrol, but as he was too old to fly in service he supervised Perk’s training on Genewen.
